Le Domaine de Trivel and its living wines
Our small family estate offers you unique wines, elegantly reflecting our passion and our values.
Our requirement: authentic wines
Each of our cuvées will tell you a story. The story of a grape variety, a terroir and a vintage.
Plot-based vintages for terroir wines
We are fortunate to have within our vineyard a mosaic of terroirs which allows us to vinify our wines in plots, reflecting this magnificent diversity. Visit our blog to find out more!
A wide range of wines
Our vineyard is spread over 4.85 hectares, planted with Chenin, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grolleau and Gamay. With our plot rich in grape varieties and terroirs, we are fortunate to be able to offer you diversified and authentic wines.
Our job: to accompany our wine with respect right down to the bottle
Our work in the cellar is entirely dependent on our raw material: the grape. It is therefore only according to the grapes harvested that we determine the stages of vinification and aging. A new adventure with each vintage!
Wine: the unique expression of our grapes
Wine is above all grapes! It is in order not to denature the very essence of our wine that we have chosen to vinify with very little or no input.
A pampered vineyard for a quality grape
Our main activity is the cultivation of the vine. All the stages of our work are determined with one objective: to allow the vines to give the best of themselves!
Sustainable viticulture
Our domain’s vocation is to produce quality wines, respecting its natural balance as much as possible. This mission begins with viticulture that respects the environment, with the first step towards obtaining certification in organic farming and respecting its specifications.
The vine at the center of our attention
We want to work the vines while respecting their natural cycle as much as possible. For example, we do not trim the vine, which allows it to give the best of itself, at its own pace, to the delight of our taste buds!
A grape integrates from the vine to the cellar
We avoid crushing the grapes throughout the harvest and the vinification stages: the harvest is manual, the harvest is transported in small containers and we perform long and gentle pressing (between 6 to 8 hours).

A family story, a passion and dreams
Alsatians in Valanjou
Sidonie and Thomas are two lovers of the vineyard and the wine who met during their training. It is their common passion that led them to pursue their dream: the creation of their domain in Anjou.
Wine, a symbol of sharing and conviviality
We want to give wine back its full meaning: pleasure. Do you want to discover our wines, our passion and share friendly and unique moments with us? Meet here.
Many projects for our domain
Nature is at the heart of our work. We plan to plant hedges around our plots. We also want to bring back more biodiversity within our vines, by planting different species of plants, trees, shrubs and flowers, in order to create healthy ecosystems and tend towards a natural balance.
