Song of the Cormier Cabernet
A plot-based cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon from one of our most beautiful plots.
The Chant du Cormier Cabernet is a fruity and delicate wine. Its ageing in barrels brings length and depth to this racy wine. Aromas of red fruits blend wonderfully with its spicy and slightly woody notes. It will elegantly accompany your cold meats, ratatouilles or red meats.
WINE INFORMATION
The 2020 vintage and the terroir of this plot allowed us to obtain a wine with a very strong personality, which gave us the desire to create this plot-based cuvée made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes, harvested twice to obtain the best maturity, showed a very fruity character and a lot of elegance. We have chosen to mature it in barrels, in order to give it even more depth and balance. In order not to mask all the fruitiness and aromatic finesse of our grapes, we have only used barrels of 2 to 3 wines, thus giving it all the benefits of this type of ageing without too much woodiness. This wine can be forgotten in your cellar for a few years without any problem!
