The Frénelles
A wine that reflects the place where it comes from: unique and seductive.
This plot-based cuvée is made from 100% Cabernet Franc, planted on a unique terroir of our estate, an outcropping black schist. This gives it a lot of character, and allowed us to create this singular, fruity and elegant cuvée.
WINE INFORMATION
When one arrives in this plot, one immediately feels the singularity of this place. Bordered by fallow land, hedges and meadows, one feels isolated, cut off from the rest of the vineyard. We wish to stay there, enjoy the serenity that the place offers us. We suspected it well before the harvest, this parcel deserves to be vinified alone. And she proved us right. It will have been the last one to be harvested, and offered us beautiful aromatic maturities. The wine from this parcel is unique in our range, with a lot of elegance and finesse. Faithful to its grape variety, with notes of red and black fruits, its ageing in barrels gives it length and balance.
